Order Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky For Sale
Raskolnikov, a destitute and desperate former student, wanders through the slums of St Petersburg and commits a random murder without remorse or regret. He imagines himself to be a great man, a Napoleon: acting for a higher purpose beyond conventional moral law. But as he embarks on a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a suspicious police investigator, Raskolnikov is pursued by the growing voice of his conscience and finds the noose of his own guilt tightening around his neck. Only Sonya, a downtrodden sex worker, can offer the chance of redemption.

The book is outstanding literature that remains easy to read. As is typical with Dostoyevsky, the characters experience intense emotions, resulting in no one staying composed.

I finally said my goodbyes to this book. It was the best piece i’ve ever read.

Imagine “Crime and Punishment,” but with a twist from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Picture Dennis taking on the role of Raskolnikov. Just think about that idea.

Crime and Punishment was likely the first serious novel I read, and I was really struck by its language and the main character’s inner struggles.

I’m sharing another review as I read. I can’t seem to escape Dostoyevsky’s dark and complex world. After finishing The Brothers Karamazov, I’m diving into Crime and Punishment, a book I last read two decades ago.
